All fundraising from this bike ride will remain in the Cairns area The beneficiary of the bike ride will be The Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation who will specifically direct the funds raised towards:

  • The purchase of state-of-the-art equipment and establish first class cardiac facilities
  • Assisting in establishing Far North Queensland as a centre of excellence in cardiac care services by funding, supporting and encouraging education and research;
  • Provide support services for cardiac patients and cardiac care staff.

We strongly urge you to raise more than the minimum fundraising amounts.

We will be encouraging the ride groups to the challenge of being the highest fundraising group through group events and activities and as a collective.

Getting sponsored is the easiest way to raise money. This can be done online at Everyday Hero which is an online organisation that serves over 200 charities throughout Australia. Build your own personal fundraising page and get sponsored online: everydayhero.com.au/event/CardiacChallenge.

Use manual sponsorship sheets, or seek out Corporate Sponsorship especially if people who know you realise what a challenge this ride will be for you.

But don’t forget the old reliables:

  • Trivia nights
  • Cakes & biscuits
  • Your own individual raffle
